CBI is a category 2 financial services provider that was licensed by the South African Financial Services Board in 2006 under license number 21606. We are based in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth with representation throughout the Republic of South Africa in the form of independent brokerages and representatives.

            Louis Louw - Managing Member

·         Studied Engineering and Theology at University of Stellenbosch. Obtained the following qualifications: B.A., B.Th, M.Th and several other diplomas and certificates, including the Forex, Technical Analysis and Financial Management.

·         Served 4 congregations as minister/pastor for 18 years.

·         Joined “Die Ooskaaplandse Behuisingsmaatskappy” (NGO) as director and company secretary with assets of more than R150 million. (1989 to 1994)

·         Served on the Regional Welfare Services Council of the Eastern Cape (1990 to 1995)

·         Elected director and company secretary of Oubosstrand Aandeleblok en Natuurreservaat (Pty) Ltd  (1993 to 2003).

·         Joined Market Traders Institute South Africa and served as lecturer in Technical Analysis, Marketing Manager and CEO.  (2003 to 2005).

·         Accepted P3 Property Group’s license for Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape in 2006.

·         Member of Deo Volente Empowerment and Training CC since 2004.

·         Managing member of  Deo Volente Empowerment and Training CC trading as Capital-Builder Investments. (2005 -   )

Paul Johnson - Sales and Marketing Manager

·         After two year national service in the SAAF, joined the Allied Building Society in 1982. Got experience through all departments and in 1988 headed up the auditing dept as the regional internal auditor.

·         In 1992 I set up the control and security dept at regional level.

·         Took transfer to East London in 1994 as Regional Mortgage Retention Manager and headed up the border Absa integration in 1998.

·         Joined Saambou Bank in 1999 as the Border RGM up until the demise of the bank in 2002.

·         Joined Old Mutual in 2002 specializing in portfolio management and assisting with the Old Mutual Banking Division implementation.

·         Joined Capital-Builder Investments in 2007 as Sales and Marketing Manager.

         Sharon van der Merwe - Office Manager

 ·         Studied at University of Port Elizabeth from 1980-1984

·         Obtained a B.Prim.Ed Degree.

·         Teacher for 4 years.

·         Joined Absa Bank at the end of 1988.

·         Involved in various avenues of banking including foreign exchange and private clients. Completed various banking certificates.

·         Obtained a Financial Services Provider – FAIS compliant certificate in 2007.
