Capital Builder Investments proudly offers the following investment products with a difference. The niche we are filling is the risk capital investment market. Every day investors buy and sell billions worth of commodities, stocks and shares with absolutely no guarantee of either capital growth or future dividends. 

However, our products are independent of the stock and commodity markets of the world, but are based upon the difference in the relative worth between different countries or global economic zones as it is defined in the value of the various currencies.

Since the beginning of mankind, and until the end of time, there will be international commerce and tourism, regardless whether the economy in a country or economic zone is good or bad. Money has to be exchanged from the currency of one country to another. That market is the source of our business.

About the Products

We offer investors a profit share on trading profits.  The first product is based with ODL Securities Ltd in London  and the second product is based with Deutsche Bank AG in London. At this point in time, the only product authorised for South African investors, is the ODL based product. The following information is applicable to both products.

Investment Term:

No minimum term (minimum of 12 months recommended)

Notice Period:     30 days

Yield :    Projected nominal yield of  30% p.a.  or better

Costs:   

ODL Securities: Initial fee of up to 3% of initial market value, thereafter none for the  duration of the investment. No withdrawal costs except for normal bank charges. Minimum investment amount: ZAR 50,000 or  USD 10,000 or  EUR 10,000   or  GBP 5,000

Deutsche Bank  : No initial fee, but an annual administration fee of 1.5% of present market value. No withdrawal costs except for normal bank charges. Minimum investment amount: ZAR 100,000 or  USD 20,000 or  EUR 20,000   or  GBP 10,000

Risk Disclosure:   

The mandate, approved by the Financial Services Board. allows for a draw-down of 20% of capital and a maximum of 5% exposure in the market.
